My grandmother, who is 84 years old, has lived in this vicinity since she was a little girl. Originally the family worked a nearby rice farm but as the area become more built up, they decided to open a small busy shop on the site of a large temple-Wat Bueangbua. This general store sold all sorts but became especially well known for their home cooked tasty noodles. Soon it became the hub of the local comunity where everyone stopped by for a chat.
Grandma Payoo is still there today and the shop is still open, close to the site of the homestay. So there is a sense of real continuity about our business – always seeking to support local people. It is these same family values you will recognize if you choose to stay in our apartments.
