My grandmother, Grandma Payoo, who was much loved, recently passed away. She was 86 years old and had lived in this vicinity since she was a little girl. Originally the family worked a nearby rice farm but as the area become more built up, they decided to open a small busy shop on the site of a large temple-Wat Bueangbua. This general store still sells all sorts but became especially well known for their home cooked tasty noodles. Even now it is the hub of the local community where everyone stops by for a chat.

   Grandma’s shop is still here today, close to the site of the homestay, reflecting her legacy of kindness and friendliness. So there is a sense of real continuity about our business – always seeking to support local people. It is these same family values you will recognize if you choose to stay in our apartments.
